BASE-customers can pay their Google Play purchases via their phone bill

BASE wants to support their customers in an optimal mobile experience. That’s why, today, BASE launches ‘Direct Operator Billing’ for purchases made on Google PlayTM. That makes it possible for all BASE customers to purchase apps, games, music, movies and books in the Google Play Store and pay for it via their phone.  

Currently BASE customers had to pay for their purchases in the Play Store via their credit card, a gift card, or other payment provider. As of today, customers using an AndroidTM smartphone, will be able to purchase their content and pay for it via their phone bill.  The service is enabled for both, postpaid and prepaid customers. Customers of BASE partners (JIM Mobile, Türk Telekom, Contact Mobile and Allo RTL) are also able to use this service.

The most common smartphones running Android are Samsung, HTC, LG devices, but also other smartphone brands have models running Android.

Last year we launched this offer for the Windows phone store, today we add an extra step.”
