BASE is relaunching the Summer Deals: for a complete mobile experience this summer
Tuesday, June 30, 2015 — For the second year now, BASE is launching the Summer Deals: an attractive and simple way of calling and surfing the internet within Europe with peace of mind. For 15 euros you get 500 MB and for 10 euros you get 150 call minutes, which lets you use your mobile care-free within Europe. The Summer Deals are available for every BASE customer, both postpaid and prepaid.
The costs of calling while abroad have been regulated for some years now, and standard roaming tariffs apply in Europe. Despite an almost yearly reduction in the prices of those roaming tariffs, calling and using data abroad is still more expensive than in Belgium.
In order to provide our customers with a better service, BASE launched the Summer Deals last year. For 15 euros you get 500 MB; for 10 euros you get 150 call minutes, within Europe. The Summer Deals are making a comeback this year so that we can again offer attractive and simple prices for calling and surfing. This will enable you to keep in touch with the home front and share all your experiences with your friends without any worries.
1 IN 2 CUSTOMERS IS A "HOLIDAY ROAMER"
1 in 2 BASE customers is a ‘holiday roamer’. That means that he uses data and/or call minutes every year when on holiday. The top 3 favourite destinations are: Spain, France and Italy.
There are two deals, depending on the consumer’s preference: whether you want to keep in touch with your family by telephone or share beach photos and experiences immediately via social media, the Summer Deals is the way to go. With the ‘data roaming’ deal, for €15 you get 500MB to surf the web in Europe. With the ‘voice roaming’ deal, for €10 you get 150 call minutes to make and receive calls in Europe (except Belgium).
